Chinese tea · rays and hard symmetry
Each tea is given the front of a travel poster: amber paper, flat rays, hard symmetry, and the leaf itself standing at the centre without retouching.

The front page is built like a travel poster: rays leaving the horizon, flat clouds, hard symmetry and one object at the centre. Amber paper, deep black, one ochre band and one dull red keep it near stone lithography rather than screen colour. Type is condensed, widely spaced and set in caps along the bottom edge, the way a poster carries its line at the foot. The tea is photographed and dropped into that geometry unretouched, so real texture meets flat shapes. Nothing hurries here, because a poster works by standing still and being read from across the street.
